At Langley Wood House we can offer you a wide range of sporting opportunities. We can arrange game shooting either rough shooting, small walked up days or formal driven days either on Hamptworth Estate or on one of a number of local estates and shoots. Small walked up days are for up to six guns at £95 per gun Bag 25 -30. Driven days are between 120 - 200 birds at £31.00 inclusive of vat.(2010/11 season prices)
We can offer stalking for Fallow, Roe or Muntjac in the New Forest, some by just stepping out of the door into Langley Wood itself or some further afield in Hampshire and Dorset.
We can arrange fishing either on local lakes with tuition if required or with Stockbridge less than 30 minutes away on beats of the Avon, Nadder and Wylye.
We can offer wild brown trout and greyling fishing on the Ebble - a real treat for the serious fishing enthusiast.
We can arrange any bespoke sporting break for individuals, small groups or even full teams and tuition on all of these sports is available from experienced coaches. You don't need to travel to Scotland for the full shooting lodge experience.
